XERISCAPE #10

Go Back

Here is an older yard, with expansive curb to house grass.  We were asked to transform the front yard to something more manageable, and interesting.  TEAM RHINAMIC removed substantial turf, added elevation changes with improved organic soils, and used landscape rock to create differing elevations.  All of the plants are now adapted to our S TX climate, with low water requirements.  Many neighbors have stopped and asked about the design and “who done it”.  Decomposed granite was added between the rock terracing and the concrete driveway and front curb.  It is too brutal of an environment along any concrete in our hot sunny summers.  Whatcha think?
